6 elements of emotion based singing:

Freedom of expression – being open to allowing emotion to flow and release blockages
Connection to yourself and others – songs and music in general has a way of connecting you to your inner self and others who can relate
Whole body – preparing our bodies for expression
Artist in me – what do my emotions tell me about my self? How do I express myself to the world?
Song journey – what’s the emotional journey of the song? How does it tell a story and make us feel things?
Song delivery – how do I want to perform this song? How can I get the true emotional power across?

Every lesson or group session follows these 6 philosophies. Each lesson and session is bespoke – we follow the feel and energy of each moment but use these philosophies as guidance to learning to art of expression through song.

Freedom: two way respect for the teachers and group members and individuals. Say how you feel, speak your mind. We are all equal and have our own stories to tell!
